Tried reboot many a time, same result. My HDD is partitioned, And the partition i installed it on was not formatted.

Ok so i just downloaded windows 7 ultimate, but im having problems on the initial boot. All the install went ok, but when I initiated first startup, it stops before windows can even start. It stops on a blank screen with a blinking cursor in the top left hand corner. I left it for over half an hour ...

its turned on now, but no bleep.
No response on the screen but everything is up and running. All the fans are going and I can hear the hardrive spinning.

Ok right so, atm I have an intel dual core E2200 2.2GHz processor, but I am looking for a possible quad core processor. I know the pins on the processor i already have are 775, but im not sure wheather a quad core processor would be compatible with my mobo, trouble is i'm not too good with processor...
