Re: SHOUT BOX FTW
A shout box wont change the fact that admins also have a life - meaning, things wont go faster. We really do try and be on and my personal goal is to have active admins (and have admins 'always' on server, but as i said, we also have a life to take care of :) Well said. However, do you also have so...

Re: Cops and Robbers
Let me try and put some perspective into this. After seeing Monksters original "inSim Library" & CLiS 2.3 and myself haphazardly progressing it to 2.6.8.h. If Monk were to somehow magically take this project back I wouldn't even bother to offer him any coding assistance because it wou...

Re: Cops and Robbers
I see... anyhow, compared to Monk's and Jason's monster InSim, CLIS, this can't drop our jaws, you know. Especially with Jason's new police assistance system. How about asking Jason if he doesn't want a little slave, to help him with polishing CLIS? (i hope you don't take that "...

Re: Cops and Robbers
To me it sounds like the InSim doesn't do anything what players couldn't do themselves, just by using F key macros. Am I mistaken?shaun463 wrote:It has these commands:

!requesthelp
!bust

I didn't include too many since that would ruin the classic CnR fun!

There are few problems with the release mate. How about simply describe what does your InSim do? Thanks.

Re: IRL events
I will start with the Carts race we had today with my friends John (LFS username JK), Michael (Miho) and Peter (santa). Amazing G forces, a lot of engines roaring, tyres squeeling, a smell of oil and smoke, excellent hotlap and race time analyzes, and completely destroyed bodies. I can't tell which ...

Re: Suggestion thread.
Thanks for moving posts Jason, I realized I am completely offtopic but discussion carried on. Sorry :) Since I cannot become CLC member again, you can ignore my past ideas, I don't plan to further invest into the dead end road. Good luck guys, see you on track somewhere (else). Jason please delete m...

Re: Good Reports - Thanks - Merged to Suggestion thread.
I am trying to get LFS back to its core. Remove all the barriers and see who is really fast, and who just knows our layout. PURE RACE, but with repair costs, cash flow, no reset. Serious entry fee, but fantastic prizes for winners.

Re: Good Reports - Thanks - Merged to Suggestion thread.
No, there is no fun without head on traffic. :) You get those in illegal racing. Organized events are certainly NOT for those who are coming to drive and cruise. But I would have a simple offer for them: "Track closed for the race event, enjoy spectating and cheerlading our best racers! Track ...

Re: Vista; For Good Or For Bad?
Stick to XP. Vista is just a bad ripoff of the most a Mac has to offer. Plus that it's laggy. I only enjoy my computer, with vista, cause I've downloaded some fun programs and Vista does not have fun programs. And most of the things, even new ones, like phones or a MIDI keyboard does not cooperate ...

Re: Good Reports - Thanks - Merged to Suggestion thread.
Closed server is a bad idea imo, all time open to all is important I think. I agree, open server whenever possible. It should be closed race though - i was talking about organized races, not illegal street racing through the full traffic like we are doing lately. Imagine this like a rally event thr...
