Re: Serial-ATA drivers

IDE drives also have jumpers remember, so if either drive (DVD or HDD) is being used in a different way to before, the jumper may need moving. Also, I'm not sure it's designed to have an optical drive and a HDD on the same IDE cable. I always keep them on two separate IDEs. But if you only have one ...

If you register to Finalgear there are lots of FTPs on there which have super download speeds. Come and find me on there and I'll tell you how to set them up if you want.

Re: Serial-ATA drivers

If the HDD is SATA-II, you'll need to go into the BIOS to set it. My 320Gb Seagate drive is SATA-II, and my ASUS board has an option to use the drive in 'RAID' mode or 'SATA-II' mode. maybe have a look at all the settings.

RE: New Z patch items / random comments

MRT would be rubbish for towing, it doesn't have a reverse gear!

Anyway who cares what Timbe says? :P

Re: Renderings

Is there any chance a render could be made of my FXR tow truck please Ray? (I am your number one fan for lots of reasons, all to do with CLC mind  ) I don't have 3DS Max and I can't afford it. Would the car be able to be parked at the end of a pitlane, maybe in a painted yellow 'tow/safety car...

Re: BETS ON THE EUROPEAN SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP

I have no interest in football but I want Spain to win, because I was there last week and I love their mad celebrations when they win. How about driving around all night waving flags and beeping horns.

Love the new smilies too, just noticed. :P

Re: Practicing my 'shopping skills.

I had a go myself, I hope you don't mind. I was forced to increase the size of the inner image slightly (part of it had gone transparent at some stage, probably my carelessness with the eraser) and I've saved this version as a .jpg. I'm not a fan of PNG files. :D http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/9...

Re: Practicing my 'shopping skills.

Very good. Exactly fits my monitor too. :D I've got a fair bit of experience in Photoshop (Avatar and Sig as well as tons of other stuff), and I have a couple of suggestions. First, the middle tyre mark would look better if it was moved under the right rear wheel, which looks like it's floating a bi...

Re: About the current map (AS7)

I personally think that GP is the perfect cruising track (after KY3) because of that beautiful long sweeping straight towards the curve at the end, and then a flat out charge for the pit straight and the speed gun. :D Such a nice track to drive. The chicane on AS7 is too fiddly and tight.

Re: PRIVATE SETUP COMPETITION

I have a set that can get to 300kmh, but only with tweak running a 5.6 litre flat 12. :P

the 6er just doesn't have the power though. I've got to 280 on the straight, according to the LFS speedo.

Re: Rules regarding distance - please read

Problems with your solutions: Is 1 timeout going to be enough? Next month next suggestion will be 1 isn't enough, I had router failed and then 2 hours Later PC froze. 10 minute timer doesn't help someone who's ISP goes down for 2 hours or their PC wont reboot quickly or cannot reconnect quickly for...

Re: Rules regarding distance - please read

I completely understand what you mean. If you go OOB then that's something you have to deal with. I very rarely go OOB by myself, but my problem is with my PC. I've just got my internet connection fixed with a new router, but now it freezes. once the whole graphics driver died! Thanks for giving me ...

Rules regarding distance - please read

Hi, First of all, I'd like the admins, particularly Jason to know that this is in know way a moan, and I am not trying to tell anyone how they should run their server. I know admins tend to react badly to that (JJ got angry with me last time I mentioned it), so this is just a suggestion. Recently, I...

Re: Stop being crybabies about fines < 1000

I know exactly what you mean, people think that because officers and cadets are friendly, they can knock some cash off for 'a good chase' or give them a warning. They don't seem to get the idea of a minimum fine, and it gets all serious when they actually have to pay. I think that the minimum fines ...
