HTML is OFF

In most forums I visit, in a little box in the bottom right, it always says "HTML is OFF". Is there some option somewhere I'm missing that enables HTML? It's not too important, I know, but it's something I've been trying to do for ages...

Any help is much appreciated

Nope, its intentionally disabled.

the html is off means that you cant put html code in your posts

its disabled in admin panel so even admins cant post html unless that changes.. which wont. May i, just for curiousity, ask why you want it enabled?

Oh, nothing major, just for instance when posting a link so that I can make a hyperlink, small things like that...

Don't use HELP, that's for babies. You have to flounder about for hours and finally figure it out yourself the long way. That way it's a real accomplishment, something to be proud of.....
