It has been brought to my attention that many people are pushing themselves and giving up there days to try to set and all time high for lap records.

Now I know that some people have already set records, and the ones that I know about I will list. Please those of you that are on this list could you please place a screenshot of your lap total in this forum

For A record to stand it must be driven by a single driver in a single sitting, no taking over.

I myself am going to open the challenge to all CC drivers to atempt to break these records, or set new ones in the other cars. Please remember records will only be posted if a screenshot is added, also I believe a record can not be below 30 Laps.

From now on, only those backed with screen shots will be taken seriously.

Good to see this finally up again , and now we dont have to worry about just one person editing the lap records, if i see a new record for somewhere i can always just edit them in.

I can provide the mpr but it's rather big, but i'd be happy to upload it if it's needed.

Shouldn't we be doing this with km instead of laps? Because most people tend to drive both ways, while reverse naturally won't add to the lap count. For that to work JJ should remove the reset after 500km distance, instead just let it count onward without any further rewards.

um... err. well i made it reset at 500 kms so that you can keep getting the get the bonuses round after round as a nice favour...

I can make it do both for next version cause I is nice.

Wellthere is a slight problem with that.... Adding extra buttons is fine, but when the server hits 32 players the number of packets being transferred starts increasing and this decreases stability. And I want more buttons for other things/quests in the future and the clocks dial is quite crammed as it is. I am not really keen on adding an extra display button for two distance counters from an inSim performance point of view.

I was really reluctant when adding the kms display onscreen.
There is now6 buttons per person updating constantly.

It will work like this:

Same display as now but will show for example:
545km

Which means your have done total 545kms in that car and are 45km towards the next bonus... which if you forget, you can check with !quests (!q) as that will show 45/50km completed toward bonus.
