Kyoto track
CLC,
been driving on the new Kyoto track for a couple of hours now and I really have a hard time getting to like it. I know you put work into it and I appreciate that, and the general idea of variety, more frequent change of tracks. But somehow Kyoto doesn't appeal to me at all. It doesn't have a nice landscape and cruising feel to it like FB nor does it have the nice twists and turns like Aston. It's just an ordinary race track. I'd really like to switch back, FB/AS are just so much nicer to cruise on and look way better.

Re: Kyoto track
I agree. Kyoto = major fail. The track has no cruising flow what-so-ever to me.

Re: Kyoto track
+1 kyoto has too much of a racetrack feel. It has no soul like the others.

Re: Kyoto track
Bobo and I worked hard to make some road like additions. Curbes are high res. Road textures are ElectriKar's work from LFS forums. Textures look less race-track-like, Bobo lined up the yellow lines, which is really the only way to make it work with KY's crazy mapping. Another version might appear soon. But in the meantime this might help easy the pain of KY3.

Re: Kyoto track
Haven't driven the Kyoto on CLC yet (will go on after dinner ), but I have experienced it in J4F (once lol) and TC. TBH i found it too much work to drive around. With all of the race-track like corners it's too hard to just relax and cruise (Don't anyone say to me that Aston and FernBay are race-tracks also, I'm just comparing).
What about Blackwood? That would be original...

Re: Kyoto track
Also another question, why are the tracks in cloudy morning mode? I hate it and it hurts my eyes at times.
