Cops and Robbers
I was thinking about bringing back the old server with my new CnR InSim app. Yes I know I'm banned for being an idiot but I want CLC regulars to enjoy the classic CnR server. What do you think?

Re: Cops and Robbers
Many have tried, including me, to re-launch the old CnR. What i think? Since you asked, waste of time really. It had never got the hit it once was, prooving that time changes.
The swedish word for speed is 'fart'.

Re: Cops and Robbers
There are few problems with the release mate. How about simply describe what does your InSim do? Thanks.
Re: Cops and Robbers
It has these commands:
!engage
!disengage
!help
!version
!requesthelp
!bust
!lost
I didn't include too many since that would ruin the classic CnR fun!

To me it sounds like the InSim doesn't do anything what players couldn't do themselves, just by using F key macros. Am I mistaken?shaun463 wrote:It has these commands:

Re: Cops and Robbers
Not really but people can tell its not a key pressed by mistake cos its the insim that does it

Re: Cops and Robbers
I see... anyhow, compared to Monk's and Jason's monster InSim, CLIS, this can't drop our jaws, you know.
Especially with Jason's new police assistance system. How about asking Jason if he doesn't want a little slave, to help him with polishing CLIS? (i hope you don't take that "little slave" as an attempt to put you down, no no, it's my cripple attempt to put Jason up! lol)

Re: Cops and Robbers
Let me try and put some perspective into this.
After seeing Monksters original "inSim Library" & CLiS 2.3 and myself haphazardly progressing it to 2.6.8.h. If Monk were to somehow magically take this project back I wouldn't even bother to offer him any coding assistance because it would be like me asking Donald Trump if I could somehow help him with his multi-billion dollar skyscraper because I have myself a rubbish truck full of liquid cement and I think I can aim my load somewhere within 2 miles of the building site .
I have to add I had to break parts of 2.3 to make some of the new features work, and "spaghetti" is a term I use freely now. Words like [REQ]:"structural engineer" spring to mind.

ROFLMAO!!! rubbish truck full of liquid concrete... muahahah sorry guys but this is too much for an architect to read. Best metaphor I have read within last year. All good books from my favorite writers included!!JasonJ wrote:Let me try and put some perspective into this.
