listen to jj, he's the man!

possible scenarios:

if 2 drivers of a team show up and 1 of them can't complete a 30 minutes stint, the team will be DQed.

if 2 drivers of a team show up and 1 of them drives 5:30hrs and the other one just 30 minutes, that's perfectly okay.

if 3 drivers of a team show up and 1 of them can't complete a 30 minutes stint, this particular driver can't win a MRT.

if 3 drivers of a team show up and 2 of them can't complete a 30 minutes stint, the team will be DQed.

if 3 drivers of a team show up and 3 of them can't complete a 30 minutes stint, the team won't finish the race, heh.

if 1 of 3 drivers who were registered for a team doesn't show up, the team can still participate fully if the others drive stints according to the rules. the missing driver can't win a MRT.

if 2 of 3 drivers who were registered for a team don't show up, the team will be DQed. there can't be any last minute substitutes. no exceptions after registration ended.

if 3 of 3 drivers who were registered for a team don't show up,... (insert an answer, the most hilarious and funny one gets a prize of 3,333 euros next time i see that person on the CLC server)

did i forget something?

All the drivers dont have to arrive all at once right? lets say eagle does the first hour, then miles shows up and does an hour then i show up is that ok? or do we all have to be there at once?

:D

I imagine that this also allows more entries if only the driver needs to be active online. Of course, for the driver changeovers both will need to be present. Forcing everyone to be there all the time also makes it too restrictive as well.

I have read it before you come to conclusions, just wondering as it is a waste of server space if he doesn't come, and it's planned he can. But anyway - Seems cool. - See you there. :D

Yea.. umm. What do you do if you get an e-mail like this? Bigger what if is if they actually select me along with others to do this?
Dear Sean K. Stibi,

This is just a quick note to remind you that your psychometric test awaits you. Some of you have already completed the test online but many more are yet to do so.

It is essential for you to complete all tests by tomorrow (Friday 12th) mid-day if you intend to qualify for the Racing Steps portion of V1 Championship Season 1.

The calendar for V1 and Racing Steps is as follows:

16 September - Rockingham: A day of real-life testing and practice in a Lotus Elise of our best LFS-racing candidates with Jay Marshall and a pro racing driver.
29 September - A day at Fortec Motorsport for the Racing Steps interview with Jay Marshall (V1), Richard Dutton (Fortec) and John Surtees (Racing Steps Foundation).
-- You will also have the opportunity to try out V1's racing simulator pod at Fortec!
13 October - Racing Steps shoot-out in a Formula Renault.

Once again, best of luck with the tests!

Regards,

V1 Race Admin
