Great that they release a car which exists in real life!
Much better than having stupid fantasy cars, it makes the game a bit more realistic to have "real" cars imo.

After 30 years maybe all cars in LFS will be cars which exists irl, lol.

Hello LFS racers.

I confirm we are making a Scirocco that will be used at the Games Convention.

It's a 200 bhp front wheel drive road car. We are very pleased to have the permission to include a production road car in LFS that we think looks nice and handles well.

We had to make it quickly in time for the Games Convention as of course that was part of the deal. Further testing and refinement will be done at a later date before it is included in the public version of Live for Speed, but we don't know yet when that will be.

As said, the release is undecided - that means I cannot say (even roughly) when it will be - but I can say you might as well forget about driving it until a long time from now.

Sorry but that's how it is right now. Something for the future.

If there's one real car then there should be real cars only.
Right now, some cars have real brands and some others are just out of the dev's minds.
One player drives an XRT (without a brand?) and the other one a VW Scirocco .. great!

They wont call the XRT Mazda RX7 or Mitsubushi Starion unless they can get the licencing for free. They got the Scirocco licencing deal so that's why they use it. It's a mix up yes, but LFS has got many years of transition to go.
