If you knew why it was really named the 360, then you would know which one to get.

But stick to what you feel is right or you will just regret it. Some games are consol specific. I can only think of FORZA, but I am sure there are more.

The PS3 has higher specs I believe, and it has teh Blue-Rays . There's probably more application mods you can run on a 360 so if you like emu's and hacking, maybe that is better. Maybe your friends have the same system so you can game with them and exchange/swap games with what they have.

I'm a PS fan-boy for my own reasons, however I haven't bought the newst incarnation of PS3, (I have a PSP for those days I am trapped with no games and I need a fix) nor will I go back to consols so I don't have enough info to help you decide. I loaned a PS3 for a week when GTAiv was released. That was fun for about a week, I felt the "AF" was pretty low def and made the trees look terrible. But 360 hasn't much better ability either so unless you can find some detailed specs, I'm not 100% sure which has more powah, I think it's PS3. Wii games are fun for about an hour But you do what you feel is right, what ever you get a lot of people won't agree with your choice anyway.

PS3 simply for higher detail graphics and blueray.

Have you owned both of those sysetms? I've never owned an X-Box so I can't say which is really better an give my examples to support my choice. But I know I hate the X-Box controllers, they hurt my left thumb where they positioned the left analog stick. But that's because I have kinda nerve damage in my hand. Blame NES D-pads I think. That's just personal preference, not an indication that PS controllers are better.

Ok i had and i say had a PS3 i sent it back becase it was like having an Apple or Vista on a adverage laptop it Froze Stalled malfuncioned and constanly came up with errors and the 360 had no problem @ all that my opinion

well all consoles suck as far as im concerned they all require 2 hands to operate

The nintendo Wii is the only console I really enjoy playing, as its the only one that does something that a PC can't. Even with that said, I would still never play one alone.

i have also wii and it is awesome but gets boring after playing wii sports for month or two every weekend
