I think it would run it good.. xbox360 too.. maybe even playstation 1 would run it at low fps ^^
Because LFS doesn't require so much "power".

Ok I meant that, with the current tools/applications available it would be probably be much easier to run LFS on an Xbox. There is a Linux OS availalbe on Xbox (AFAIK)

Running Linux on PS3 - I'm not sure about. Well, I looked it up 2.6 Linus can be done. So meh, easy on both then. And imo PS3 would run it faster. Sorry for confusion.

FWIW, I had the choice to buy both systems, I instead bought a better gaming PC because I play it more often, and I had some left to buy a G25. If I "HAD" to buy one - it would be PS3. My PSP would talk to him nicely.

We can't really tell Eagle what to get, he has his own needs and his own reasons for needing a console. So Eagle, if you feel you need a console, for gaimg with friends etc, then you don't have to get better PC parts because a few people here would do that themselves.

Isn't X-Box live better than PS3 online or something? It's free isn't it?

Nothing is free in this world, so i doubt xbox live is free.

Xbox live is NOT free, but something in the back of my mind tells me that PS3 online is.

u dont have to pay more than wat it costs for BB for PS3, xbox live is just a rip, it doesnt make ur net any faster, and u still have to use ur own connection

PS3 free internet which on 360 you have to pay or get a trial also PS3 has got alot better graphics Also has its own brain sort of (It can think to what to do in games)

i think he means the red ring of death, but you can get that repaed for arounf £40
