Another [CLC] Server?

I think there should be a 2nd [CLC] server as most of the time the server is always full or some people like the server being quite it would cost a bit more but i think it would be well worth it.

Also to help run the 2nd server there should be some donates? (about 3+ pounds)
To help with the running of prices for the 2nd server.

-1. Tracks aren't dense enough even with full server. Spreading it will just make it less fun. Maybe petition devs to allow 70 connections to cruise servers :headbang:

70 people on track? that would actually suck, unless u rolled ur car, it is almost garunteed that someone will unroll u lol, but 70 epople on track would be rediculous

Surely if there weren't 10+ people AFK in the police station at peak times, there wouldn't be a problem?

It's been getting a lot worse recently.
I can understand if people are chatting, etc, but TeamSpeak was dead too.

Why take up the slot? Disconnect!

I've just got d/c'd from lag, and of course can't get back on - so I might as well give up. I actually want to do some driving....

I'd say make the police stations SMALLER so more people either drive or disconnect. And even if they only go into spec .. it's an improvement to the current situation as they get kicked after 20 minutes.

There are plans to reduce the AFK timer (currently 60 mins) if you have very few kms. For example if you've only done 40kms you will only get 10mins and if you want a longer timer you're going to have to do more kms first.

Could you do a sliding scale on the amount of kms? Perhaps 1km/min AFK?
But your AFK minutes count down until you do more kms, so you can only ever be AFK for the total number of kms you've done (so you can't drive 40kms, AFK 39:59, move 1cm (!), AFK 39:59 etc..)

I don't know InSim at all, but could you have a second counter that clocks up with kms, but clocks down with Inactive mins?

I really don't like the idea/concept of having 1min/km added in, it makes things much harder for the people are very low kms.

You have to remember that it costs €600 to be disconnected for being AFK on track. There is good reason for this.

My suggestion would be:

<10kms - 10mins
10-50kms - 20mins
50-100kms - 40mins
100kms+ - 1hr
Toying with the idea of 500+km = 3hours

In my opinion the timer cannot really be as shorter that 10minutes at any point(Unless in garage ofc) becuase of the €600 cost. 10mins still gives people the chance to quickly dash off and do something small without being kicked. It's still 6 times shorter than people are getting now.

Yes that is possible, but I was designing a 5 minute fix, not a few hours work fix. Remember though it's not 1:1 ratio kms:afk. If you did 41kms (about 5 laps at FE4), you'd only get 10 mins anyway. You'd have to do around 250 kms to get the full 60 mins afk time. Most people sitting in the police area for +10mins have usually done less than 50 kms.
