Good event again, really enjoyed it. Having the little battle with Chris was fun for a while too.

Good stuff...
- More people made it so much better and good to see those who signed up actually joined.
- Having officers on duty was also nice. A little too lenient I think though (shouldn't have said that, i'll get mullered next time!).
- The little bonuses as incentives to finish and join in that little bit more.

Bad stuff...
- The track choice (was it a choice?). Fern Bay Black sucked balls for doing distance.
- A few n00blets on the server.
- UF1 being in the same class as XFG and XRG. It has no competitor and I feel it should have its own class (no i'm not saying this because I was the first UF1 to finish). Fair enough it gets the same distance bonuses as the XFG/XRG but they can finish quicker.
- Sore losers. People who crashed after 100km then calling it a day? Come on! (*cough* Chesta *cough*)

Like was said in Teamspeak, maybe next time have a better track (Westhill or Kyoto Grand Prix). Looking forward to it already!

Thanks Bobo and thanks to all who took part. Really enjoyed it.

I guess Franky doesn't apply :innocent:

Thanks for the great event, bobo. Definitely hope we have events like these more often. Noone really ruined it for us all, and it was a big challenge to do those last 300km.

Congrats to everyone that tried more than 500km, and especially to those who finished :headbang:

This was a great day on CLC. I enjoyed seeing so many on the server at the same time. It was fun with cops too. But i think the Officers may be a little bit more careful next time.
And I am a little agree with Beefy, I got kinda bored of this track after a few laps. So i hope it will be a better track next time aswell :)

Wanna say congratulations to all who finished the event. :hooray:

Hope the next event will be soon!

I added a photo you can see if you want.

Best Regards

Carlos NOR

Yaay good event

Good points

I beat bobo at his own event :)

Bad Points

none i beat bobo :)

now seriously only bad point was there was no refund between 200 and 500km meaning if you got disconnected up to 499.9 you went back to 200km

I gotta say even i acctually didnt join with my user, it was great fun the last 500 km's of Sindre NOR :D

I think the track choise was perfect, it was a little challenge to get to 1000 km's in 14 hours :p
it was also fun to be an towtruck at the beginning of the event, but after an negative comment i stopped doing that and rather enjoy the event!

Thank you all of those who bring the server and events like this out to us, it is and was GREAT fun :headbang:

if there was a prize for finishing right on time, i think Sindre would have won it :p i think i finished with about 1 min again to drive on :p

thank you all again!

Best regards, Jonatan :blah:

Well, it was great to see a full server, with a lot of previously regular players showing up. Hope you stay around guys. It was a little unfortunate that it was so popular as the lost time actually getting onto the track turned out to be an issue. :teehee: Trying to compute average speeds and times whilst trying to drive flat out did make for an intersting time, even if the answers were never the ones I wanted. :worried:

The choice of FE4 was not really a bad choice, it is a technical track and distance is an achievement. But, the choice of distance I think we have realised was a little on the high side. Hats off to Chris and Beefy for doing the event in a UF1 :headbang: , they had to drive flat out without mistakes the whole time. It was also great to see that after almost 1000km they were basicallly on the same lap!

The fact that the distance was set so high meant that a lot of the participants dropped out pretty quickly as they lost distance in that big 200~500km void. Not sure what can be done about that though as the bonuses do give an easily verifiable marker for the admins to check. Again, a distance that allows for a couple of mistakes would have been better.

In general I think that it ran a little more slickly than last time as the experience of the first gumball meant that both the drivers and organisers knew what they were up to. :)

Roll on the next one.

Thankyou for all the possitive feedback guys, I would like to thank everyone again for comming on the server and having a good time during the event, the police, the towtrucks, all the participants and of course the regular cruisers out there =)

In the future I will allow people to have there distances restored every 100kms, this will get rid of the 'Danger zone' between 200 and 500 kms. I already have a plan in mind to verify this also :)

Happy cruising,
Bobo.
