According to ya, what would be great with 7 ? Cause I'll have it for free ... So if I'm not satisfied with it ... I will get back to my XP, and his 3gb max XD

i started using 7 when its first came out as RC, most games i play work just fine. nice smooth and stable OS, i have yet to crash it or get it to freeze too. dont think im going back to XP, but i gotta buy 7 by june or march, cause my key will expire.

If you can afford, buy a SSD (Intel X25-M G2 80GB, currently the best SSD disk), it doesn't cost that much but gives you a huge boost in experienced speed in Windows, it also speeds up loading times in games and some more stuff.
Here is a little demonstration of SSD powah: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_Jz7IMwBt4
Don't forget that the WD Raptor is the fastest conventional HDD on the planet, it spins in 10.000 rpm, normal HDD's spins in 7200 rpm, so the difference between normal HDD> SSD will be even bigger..

Also you should switch the WD Caviar Green 1 TB HDD to a Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB, the Spinpoint F3 is much faster and better.
And i would buy a better CD/DVD ROM.. i'm sure if you buy a good CD/DVD ROM reader/burner you can burn discs much faster and some more stuff. I bet the DVD reader in the HP sucks.
One of the best DVD burners available is Sony Optiarc AD-7240S, or 7243S, doesn't really matter which one of those 2 you choose.

i cant afford a ssd at this point, but maby later, thanks for the link.
and the WD green disk i already have, so that stays :p
might buy a new burner, but i think this one is good enough, i have never had any probs with it.

thanks, jonatan
