As byou might know, Apple have released their iPad, and since there already have a Macbook pro and an iphone, many people dont see the need for another thing there inbetween. So, the jokes are coming in.

Well, all I can say to the iPad is this: You can't take it with you like can an iPod or iPhone, you can't work on it like on a laptop, you can't hold it in one hand like you should (for reading), and considering all of that you still pay more for it than for a half-way decent laptop (not netbook, those are even cheaper).
Don't get me wrong: I'm rather close to what you'd call an Apple fanboi - I have a MacBook Pro (not latest model tho) and an iPhone. And I like both. But the iPad - it's just pure nonsense. And it won't help classic print pubs ascend to the next level, as much as analysts would like it to.
Maybe in 5-10 years, after it's become a lot lighter, a lot cheaper and a lot more efficient when it comes to battery use, then we'll discuss again the iPad 5G or so.

While it's probably a good idea and it'll make them more monies I'd personally prefer to stick to my WinMo smart phone and if I want an E-reader I'll buy a kindle.
