On TV they said this is the hardest winter for the last 30 years. Can you confirm that? Or is it a normal winter for you?

Well, in northern germany, where i live, this is a real hard winter. We usually dont have any snow and teperature is about 0°C.
This year, the deepest temp was about -15°C which is alot for this region. In addition to that Germany vanishes in snow atm.
Here some pics of how it looks like (more are following) Please post some pictures of your region!

in sweden they're saying its the coldest winter for the last 50 years (in my city we had like -22 as coldest, -10 or -5 is more normal-ish). The low temp mainly makes it collect a lot of snow than usual, even if we normally ofc tend to have snow the whole winter... just not this much

I live in the "south" part of Sweden, and we have got a good amount of snow here

Today our school closed at 10:30 because of a warning, we're in the center of a storm (supposedly ..).
Just took 2 quick shots from my balcony, maybe I'll post some more pics later because it's snowing a lot right now.
Next week I'll be going to the Alps, southern border of germany .. EVEN MORE SNOW

Well i have about 30+cm of snow on the balcony railing... So incredibly much snow. Narrow roads, high enbankments of snow everytwhere!

And since there are retarded volvo xc70 drivers out there whom cant drive on their side of the road, i managed to park here when i avoided one of them x)

you saying lucky you with winter? it is about as much snow in here as in maxh's pics. and yesterday i woke up at 5:00 then we wnt to the shooting range marched the 8km into there. it was -20c. and when we got there and started practising attacking, arming small bazookas and digging holes for mines. that took about 7hours. then we started shooting and we shot for 4 hours i got 70-80/100 points. and then we marched back. it was either hot or we were freezing. and doing it all with 15kg belt thingy and 10 kg body armor made even more fun! and the snow ill see you this weekend @ server

Snow update: ...idk but half a meter of snow here and there... Crazy!
