Just sprung an idea whilst spectating earlier in the day today.
When an officer go's on duty i belive for them it could be quite strenuous to see who to choose when it comes to cadets, maybe they want assistants for chases but on the other hand dont quite want to spend all there time looking after there cadet.
In a scenario like that i belive this idea could work... Basicly this "Cadet Group" is for those cadets who have had experiance and are recommended by there superior officer.
This is not to stop new cadets coming on the beat, it's to limit the stress on the officer.
Im sure taking on 1 experianced cadet and one new cadet will be a bucket load of strain off the officer. ( Hope the idea is ok )

Re: "Cadet Group"
this is somewhat redundant. as you being a civilian wouldnt know in the police forum we have an area to list good/bad cadets for our consideration. i think the last thing we need is to have another group.
Also, just because one officer thinks someones a good cadet doesnt make them one

Re: "Cadet Group"
To come out of game to check the forum on good/bad cadets then... see who's online and who isnt, seems some what far-fetched. This idea clearly was not worth the time as i got flamed woop.

The [OPC] tag usually gives it away.Chesta wrote:this is somewhat redundant. as you being a civilian wouldnt know in the police forum we have an area to list good/bad cadets for our consideration. i think the last thing we need is to have another group.

Cadets are discussed amongst the Officers and as Chesta has said, usually behind closed doors so to speak.
That doesn't mean that the idea is necessarily a bad one, just that there are other methods by which this is currently handled, and possibly different ways that we might change this in the future. Also, the current groups list is a little inflexible when it comes to the number of players that it lists - too many people on the list and it could more than fill the chat.

Re: "Cadet Group"
Hey, thankks for the idea.
However, as addition to matt's answer, its also redundant in another way. If we would implement a "cadet group" we'd need another 'pre-cadet' thingie, to see which can be cadet. Imo its just an extension of the officer ranking system and not really needed.
Also, if we would have a cadet group with some kinds of (extensive) rating it would take away the ability for 'Anon' to ask to be cadets, since most officer would like to get experienced ones. The 'leaking' in our now behind-the-doors-talk somewhat prevents that, although i admit that wasnt intended... just a quick fix.

Understood and agreed with. There is clearly more to the police rabbit hole than i first thought. Thanks for the feedback.
