hello,
i like the option to send money and stuff but i also think there should be limits. i like when someone is generous enough (or bored enough) that he/she sends alot of money to random people/noobs but at the same time i think it should be limited.
to clarify: i cant remember his name but he basically went no life and earned alot of money in a short amount of time. in this period he bought some fast cars and became cadet. however the time he spent in the server was way too short in my opinion to become a cadet because he barely knew any rules and crashed people. i got the same amound of km in a much bigger amount of time because i couldnt afford to play as much as he/she did in one day and because of that i have had many chases, met more people etc and therefore knew most of the rules.
my point is: (i will not say the name in case he/she feels offended) someone sent a noob a HUGE amount of money (91k-to buy an fzr) and another one enough to buy an xrt while they were both in uf1 and only 1 day in CLC. they have gotten a good and an allright car in a very short amound of time because this person was bored and didnt need the money and sent them the money they begged for.
so what my question is: can there be some sort of fine for sending large amounts of money? ( like if someone sends 90k that he gets a 90k fine instead) untill he/she can prove to an admin that that money will not be wasted on a noob that doesnt know any rules and crashes people?
just thought i would ask your opinions..

Re: sending money
I understand this, however that is a lot of coding for what would be limiting free will. To be honest if someone is given 91k or something in the first day, then that is considered morally cheating. Therefore there jsut ruinign the idea of a cruise server for themselves. yes if you cant play ana wful lot then it can be annoying, however it adds more fun to the game, and a bigger sense of acheivement. Therefore i can understand your wishes but feel the coding time could be better placed.
Kinda Regards, and apologies for spelling, its late and im a tired Rikki.
Have a good day Sir.

Re: sending money
in that case nevermind.i dont care if they cheat their way to better cars (i like earning it myself but some think different) i just dont want to get crashed by another noob that doesnt know the rules. i was just thinking if it isnt too much trouble then maybe it could be done.
thanks anyway:)

Re: sending money
Unfortunately, without making the code quite involved this would be difficult to do, as whatever limit is set, people would just send blocks of slightly less than that whilst spamming the server. So, we would have to have a database of all transactions and collate the money received during a set period of time, and I assume add tracking for those with known multiple accounts to ensure that they are not circumventing the system. To be honest I'd rather see that time put to creating something new.
As to the idea of fining (instead of transfer of money) and Admins then having to sit in judgement of the recipient. There are few enough hours in the day as it is, and can you imagine the emotional state of someone who has just lost that much money just for trying to help someone out.
Cadets are currently limited by a requirement that they have completed 2000km within the server (as money can be transferred to them, making a monetary limit meaningless) before they are permitted to cadet. Obviously some measure up better than others, but until we try them out there is little way of telling.
