It's even more of a pain in the behind to the people who have been working on the problems both today AND on Christmas Day. Whilst we eat and drink too much have some consideration for those whose Christmas has turned to crap thanks to a random computer meltdown.

can I just ask however, what is the actual problem because the server is up...so what's wrong with 30 people going round at hideous speed driving near nonstop? it's not like it's just going to pull up a virus bullet and kill us all

the problem is the gumball has a special insim to keep track of distances etc. so without the insim we cant do a proper gumball.
this may as well be delayed til next weekend now

It has been suggested that the server issues may be resolved today. If this is the case then we will start the Gumball at midnight tonight and run to the end of Monday.
Fingers crossed and thanks to the staff at 500 servers who have been working on this every day since the problem occurred, including Christmas Day!
