Update tomorrow. Basically a monumental foul-up by MINI meant that the car was built, but the JCW bodykit wasn't even ordered by the factory until the start of this week (when the dealer principal was shouting at them). Rather annoying, expecially as I was in Oxford last weekend!

The latest in the continuing saga...

Car should have been completed and signed off by MINI yesterday, but the dealer has been unable to get MINI to confirm this. As a result various levels of dealer / MINI UK sales management are now involved to get the situation sorted.

Still no car. Looks like the JCW bodykit is being updated and stock has run dry for the moment.

However, unless by some miracle the car arrives, MINI UK are supplying a JCW Coupe for me until they can deliver my car.

well.. at least they are putting in some effort to getting things fixed.
But I do think it is a little strange.
