insim.

Hello.

Would like to continue to learn some insim stuff (when I get time again, should be soon..) but I couldnt find any good tutorials or anything.. could anybody point me in a good direction?:)

Your best bet is probably to try and find some examples in the programming forum of LFS and then try and work out what these are doing and start playing around with them. Then you need to get familiar with the LFS documentation insim.txt that shows you all of the packets that are used by InSim.

Of course, the methodolgy and application changes with each langauge that you may wish to use.

Just thought... even before that you ought to get hold of an InSim and make sure that you can get it to talk so that you can test anything you do code. Getting the right port forwarding and making sure that your code is compliant for IPv6 etc can be as much of a headache as making it do the fun stuff.
