4 pages talking about need for speed and no one mentioned the best one. Lets see there was interior view, engine modding, interior colour changing, exterior modding, tuning, The best physics (for its time) Cops, mission mode, multiplayer, Plenty of cars from 1950-2000. Car evolution mode you started in 195X and played till 2000 and when new cars became along you could buy them...

What is the best Need for Speed of all time you ask? Well of course its Need for speed: Porshe Unleashed Where have you guys been :P . I still play it from time to time, was one of my favourite all time games.

PS. Underground 2 was second best, and Underground 1 was awful in my opinion  I stopped playing Need for speed after Most Wanted. Most Wanted was ok. However Carbon was a complete joke, look look my car steers on its own now and I ca ntake corners at 140 kmh that I should only be able to take at 50kmh WOOHOO

Comparing to alot of games like the new need for speeds and such, porshe unleashed still doesn't have that bad of physics. I mean there not amazing or anything but still I admire them for the wor kthat must have went into that game. Actually that company made my two favourite street racing gams that were semi realisitc. Need for speed: porshe unleashed and Testdrive Unlimited. The company I am reffering to is Eden, not EA obviously :D .

Porshe unleashed had open roads right, like intersections in the towns around France and Europe.. that was cool Werid physics imo though.

I also got a lot of value from High Stakes. (nice fun cop chases for its time) And one of my fav. from latest releases was NFS:UG2. I hired out Burnout once just to the play NFS:UG2 demo on PS2.

Well it ha open roads in a way. It was a track point a to b. However there were sometimes like 12 ways to get there. I remember when porshe unleashed came out there was nothing that could touch it for physics at the time well except maybe old school racing sims 8) . Highstakes was a good one but it wasn't one of my favourites. I think the need for speed series was really good but after porshe unleashed it went down hill.

Lets face the facts need for speed was good until recent years I think most of us old school gamers would agree on that :) .

This game has no oversteer at all, ever, during races. Ever.
