500km marathon

Hi all,

I'm organising an 500km marathon on CLC cruise. Its this saturday 1 december 2007. It will start at 13h GMT. The program wil look like this:

13.00: everybody gathers around at the hairpin after lottery cash in.
13.15: start marathon
23.00: last driver should get 500km

It works like this: ur free to take brakes at any time. We will drive at a speed of 100km/h this is so that all cars can follow. Please drive clean so we dont need to stop every lap for pit we will stop every 5 laps for new tyres and repairs. If u do crash u just pit and try to rejoin the group or wait a lap. The train will only stop every 5 laps.

All people who want to drive in this marathon just join server around 13h, and put 500km after ur nick.

Hope to see some off u on the track

I really think driving in a train won't work... people will get fed up and drive 500km at their own pace, I imagine.

Great idea though... wish more people would organise stuff.

i'm in GMT+1 but i put times in GMT so people could easy see wich time it is for them

btw i will do change the arangements

chris is probably right that 1 train wouldnt work so just all people trying to get there in 10 houres would be best

BTW the use of any stimulating products like weed and alcohol isnt recomended

is it ok if i start a bit later? might be out until 1:30 or 2. might just have to drive faster than normal

What about V, V tastes better than all the other stuff lol, but id rather go at my own pace instead of a slow 100km lol, and im GMT+13 hours lol

every one can drive own pace i wont keep to the 100 rule ether but there are prob people who would like to drive with other peeps and they could be uf1 so they could keep to the rule

btw 13pm is just the hour i'll start any body who want to join me then can do so any one who wants to join later no problem just put 500km in ur nick btw at 17 hour we'll take a picture of all competitors

it wont be as fun (at all) with my mouse im using as a temporay replacement for my broken g25 (i always thought my g25 would NEVER break; that it just couldn't happen - logitech hasnt responded in 72 hours) ill try my best anyways. not that i have a life, ill have nothing to do tommorrow
