Oh ya, I lovce racing the new AI, but jeez, they gotta learn manners by patch Y!

You aren't alone, Max. Of course, in the single seaters it makes some sense, from a simulator point of view. But not being able to press both 'look left' and 'look right' to look backwards in the road cars is in my opinion a strange decision by the devs, especially since you can still look backwards with the button programmed to do so. It gives me the choice either to delete one of the binds on my steering wheel (and I find I really need them: clutch, handbrake, view left & right), or to sort of stick my keyboard to the wheel with duct tape :).

didnt realized that problem neither, but i was more talking in custom view, where i use wheels only view... incar, ofc that rearview should be blocked by the car... but yet lockback-able imo. specially custom view.

Or they could lock it to ingame view only, in that case i'd buy this change.

How on earth do you look back now? I can only look 45 and 90 or Forwards.

In the road cars, default keys are W (left 45°), E (right 45°) and R (rear 180°, from middle of the car). In the formula cars, the rear view shows the virtual mirror only - never seen an F1 driver turn his head into the air intake anyway. Changed in X30 is the fact that you can't use W and E together to look backwards, doing this just increases the side view to 90°. So that brought me to the problem of limited buttons on most wheels.

It is a test patch, so no it wont have an automatic update thingy. If you`ve got free space on you harddrive, just copy lfs that you`ve got atm and only update one with the patch at the forum. 8)... and you will have to unlock it again so make sure you`ve got a spare unlock
