I think that Ultamate is the only one that is not so buggy.

I'm sticking with XP. Tried Vista on someone elses computer, and just really didn't like the way it felt for some reason. Some of the stuff was just too different from XP, what I'm used to. That, and a lot of my games aren't Vista compatable.

i'm not going to vote but i will say that for a brand new PC, vista is the way to go, but if you intend to install it on an old PC (one you are using now) then stick with XP until you want to start a fresh.
my sister has just bought a laptop with vista home premium and it's great, but i'm not sure if it would work so well on this PC

Doesn't even the basic one require like 1GB of ram just to function?
Best thing to do is to install Win95 on your PC...then you have twice as much ram as vista users without changing a thing!

It may suck, but it knows how to squeeze the maximum power from your PC

I actually really want to try Vista out myself, partially due to having an XP version from my Dell laptop which has some unwanted Dell things I haven't all been able to remove. But before that, I need an extra GB of RAM to feel safe moving over to Vista.
