BUMP! Got my new (well, really old) PC, I have to say I'm surprised. It came with 2 Radeon 9800s
Even with 256MB RAM and a 1.8Ghz CPU, I still get 40FPS with a full field of AI with average graphics settings. I was like
My new-ish PC has 2GB RAM and a 3Ghz processor, and gets 40FPS with me on my own and graphics settings at there lowest...
The problem is, it's riddled with virus' and spyware. I will probably have to format the HDD. But, I don't have any of the driver discs that came with it. Would I be able to download all of 'em of their manufacturer's site?
Also, it is uber-slow at everything except rendering games. So I need to get some RAM. Here's the official motherboard info:

Any PC800 I've looked at are way too expensive, most being above €100 for a single 512...Is there a way around getting the expensive ones? Ideally, I'd like 1GB, I'd be happy with that...
