im hoping to get 4gb of ram, vista does use alot of your pcs hardware, but is a veryy nice OS i personaly love vista now

i hate vista
First of all i dont like the name and second i dont like the way its set up

If you ignore the amount of resources Vista uses, it's actually excellent! Put it this way - if you weren't going to use the PC/laptop solely for gaming, Vista is brilliant.

Aint it so that very few games is compitable (sp) with vista?

all my games work fine with vista, evry now and then theres a lil bit of lag but you get that on xp, vista is really user friendly in my oppinion, and it looks sooo good lol

I actually love Vista now! It has so many cool features, it makes XP look like DOS in comparison

I have Home Premium, I'd hate to have Basic though...

I also have Vista, Its Great i'm enjoying it, An All games work on vista if you know what your doing.
you just need at least 2gb of ram minimum.

My dad has vista on his comp and i just cant navigate on it Im too used to XP... Well i own the computer in Chess tho

same mani...but after haveing it on for a while i get used to it... al tho i do hit "pictures" instead of "my computer" evry so oftern lol

Now i have ordered 2 gb's of RAM and a Sapphire Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics card for my computer =)

I got used to vista fairly quickly and used to like it, however I reformatted my computer over a month ago and it was nothing but a headache afterwards. For some reason I was getting all of these weird problems I never had before.

Such as copy and pasting like 1gb would take 12 hours, task bar options gone, and various random other things. I spent about 2 hours each night for a week straight find solutions to problem after problem. It was like well vista has this flaw,bug,glitch,issue, etc ,etc. When your not having problems vista is great but when something goes wrong you want to throw it in the trash and go back to xp.

Was the computer turned "ON" ? Doesn't sound like it.
