What "happens" to Joe_X could happen to anyone.... and lotto once per hour woul be the same for everyone eh?

Just look at ltc or tc or something dunno which one.. They have lotto one per day and the prices are bigger (but thats boring)

Thing is if you restrict lotto too once per hour then people will just base that on how many times a day to do the lottery. Not everyone, but some people will see its been an hour disconnect and reconnect just to do it (assuming they arnt going for a distance bonus).

Im sure just by people keeping an eye out can ban the people doing it and then no one else has too suffer.

Joe X will be recorded as being crashed out of bounds or big fine and allowed a lotto ticket on return.

Joe Y leaves server normally (cheater) and is already ear-marked as not allowed a lotto ticket for a given period of time.

Quite simpe to do. The long part is putting all the code into the system to notify people why they cant' get a lottery and how long then must wait etc etc. Adding the "human side". Just look how many people ask "where is lottery?" , "is lotto off?" , "has lotto moved?" , "why can't I get lotto", when its moved or a new track. I do have an solution, just the notification system is the long part to do, so a five minute job turns into hours of work.

It's on the to-do list. Just in the mean-time, dont cheat. ^_^

as jj can attest, i also live in australia and quite regularly time-out usually once or twice a session (my isp sux)

now problem is, every time ive re-connected, ive always gone and got another lotto ticket.
am i classed as a lotto cheater? or are you allowed to collect another if you timeout/ go o.o.b.?

ps the random "jackpot" thing is very random... over the last few weeks i must have got 50+ tickets
all of them like 110-190 dollars, not a single jackpot yet

anyways, im just asking admin if its still ok to collect another ticket if you timeout/crashout?

Yes, thats fine. You loose 600 from timeout and 1200 from OOB, so I can hardly see people doing this many many times to try and scam a jackpot. Unless online gambling is your thing...shhh
