I see this all the time, people are replying to the post directly above and feel the need to quote the whole post first . I think the quote function gets used a little too much. you enter a post and the whole page is just a quote of the post/s above.
First person to quote in this thread gets a punch in the face.

Sometimes it is necessary to quote the person prior because you fear they might edit their post and make your reply look rediculous. I once replied to some guy who complained about speeding and getting caught, he later realised he was in the wrong then complained on a different level making my reply look like I was writing random things totally off topic.
