G25 for racing games and Mouse + Keyboard for FPS games!

Wheel (not always G25) for driving games, Joystick for flying and mouse and keyboard for FPS's

JJ console games never ruined me for in car view. I always loved racing games with in car view such as the need for speed series until hot pursuit 2. For some reason around the time of the xbox,gamecube and ps2. In car view almost completly died, which was majorly disappointing. Then when the new consoles game out, there have been games like pgr and testdrive unlimited. I love my in car view and I wish every racing game had it .

The only problem I have with in-car views in some games is the lack of depth perception. Just look at Rfactor, I find it really hard to tell exactly how far away corners are, but in LFS it seems to be 4D or something lol

Colin McRae Rally had some good in-car views...

IRL cars: cruise control, ABS, reverse sensors, front collision detection, infra-red night vision, GPS sat nav, Plus every single budding engineer in the last 20 years has made/programmed some robot that had to "follow a line of tape" in school.

That wheel in your car is going very soon. Which is a shame.

The wheel is a great and fun way to control your car. Don't get me wrong I don't dislike wheel. I wouldnt try to make an incar view driver use chase view or a joypad, That would be like trying to make someone enjoy the same food as me. I happen to like chase view and it's just weird using a wheel in chase view for me. Also I'm lazy and don't like all that physical work.

You obviously haven't tried a G25 with full FFB (that's 150% in the profiler and i think 200% in LFS) in a GTR

I would compare it to driving a house - without power steering

i agree im mean..im only small and all but its "drivable" if you a bodybulder lol

It's a great bonding experience IF you have a girlfriend, to try and drive a FXR together...yes me and my gf DO play LFS together

good fun that haha.... which is why the wheel is easily best for driving games
