Unfortunately we have lost all CLC account progress from 2 February - 18 February !
Files from 2nd of february have been used.

It seems its a human error this time. This is what happend:

One of our crew read was going to do a backup of the user files, which we do through a web panel by selecting the files and then pusing the button that zip them. The crew member however accidently clicked the next button to it which is 'delete', and unfortuntaly there isnt any confirmation on this, the damage was already done by this point.

On the good side our latest backup of the file is from 2nd of february and those file will be reinstated. So to be ironic, our thinking of being preservative made us do this misstake today, at the same time its that that saved us.

We're really sorry for any incovinience it may cause. Of course we'll look into a solution for it not happening again.

At this moment we are working on reinstating the old backed up files.

right.. well this sucks but sh*t happens

so, if we havent been on CLC since before 2nd feb our accounts wont have changed?

I bought a FXR yesterday, and now i have lost it.
Can i get it back? There is plenty of witnesses who can say i bought a FXR yesterday, Timbe knows i bought a FXR yesterday..
Could i also get my XRT back?

Hi there. I came on the server this morning and i noticed that only had 168k, yester day i had around 250k
I worked really hard to get those cash, so please.
i read about the problem and the offline server, but is it possible for me to get my money back?

Im Sorry Mreko, We had to roll Back 14,000 accounts to our last save which your well aware of. If we refund one person were going to have to refund all 14,000. I hope you can understand this and can work through it with everyone as we all work to earn back those 2 weeks we lost.

Yes, I also had a XRR and 20k and now thats gone im in 86k Debt with no chance of making it back?

Also: If you cant i phsyically cant cruise there no more as ill have to sell everything to give flode back.
p.s: Cant you convert the CLIS to MySql, then no monkeys can do this and it will auto back-up.

Edit: I know JJ can do it but just doesnt have time but if you want ill write a program to stop this happening by making a back every 4 hours. ?

If I don't get back my FXR i will stop playing in CLC.
No way that I'm going to drive for a FXR again, it takes many weeks and many many hours of driving to get enough cash for a FXR.
I fighted SO hard to get money for FXR, and when i finally bought it yesterday i was SOO happy.
And then i loose it the next day. Try to imagine how i feel if i don't get my FXR back.

oh well... seems my question is answered already here....

I don't understand how that can be a reason for not giving refunds.
All you need to do is to give refunds to them who asks for refunds (much much less than 14.000), and if they don't have proof (which the majority don't have?), simply don't give refunds to them.
It maybe requiers some work, but the whole thing was the CLC staff's fault and CLC will get a little better "status" and you wont loose players like me.
I know many players will quit playing on CLC because of this.

to be honest you dont see the big picture its sad to know we will lose players over this
right now as for refunds blame those who have tried to fraud the system in the past if all were honest then refunds wouldnt be a problem ,
as for blaming the clc yes we dont need reminding, we went public with the truth when we could have said it was hacked
we are trying to be fair to everyone some lost close to 250k some lost a few hundred as people are on line different amounts,
