I was on CLC quite a lot today and i just randomly timed out 4 times. I lost a whole 4800 and i was going for 500km (284km). Noone else was on the internet at the time so i dont know why it happened. I found this very unfair

maybe it is. Even if i doubt that noone else were on the whole wide internet, the advise it to talk to your ISP and tell them to get better routing.

yh i suppose it's just really anoying that i kept loosing money. I am quite poor and can't really aford to loose all that money. O and btw i meant noone else was using my internet connection e.g. in my house I really wanted that 500km i dont ever get much time on lfs... My ISP are teriible anyway but II think there was a short "break" in the wire. I think the connection just "cut out" for a few seconds (4 times) Oh wel il just have to deal with it ...

Are you runnig Vista?

Are you running other programs with LFS? I found LFSstrobe timed me out ALOT.

Can you borrow a friends router/modem to test your own equipment/modem/router?

Are you outside the Europe? CLC is in the UK. Outside of Europe things are more likely to be less stable connection wise.

Try turning off CLiS buttons with !hud See if that makes and differnce and let us know if thats a big differnce.

try a ping test:

Start >> Run >> cmd >>
ping 195.78.83.8 -t

is it stable? or is it dropping out. If its dropping out its not the CLC server or inSim mod causing the prblems.

i am not running vista i only have XP.
i don't know if i can try a friends router but i will see.
i am in the UK
And my ping is pretty stable.
I will tell you later about the CLiS buttons because i cannot now
It was mainly just that day though and it is not happening much now, thankfully.
I just had a bad day because i lost 4800

do you use wireless? thats my problem, my ping / isp etc is all good its just the wireless that makes me loose connection, hope that helps :S
