Re: Your favorite GTR
i like the gearing in FXR, means u dont have to release the accelerater, and it seems like the shifting is faster
INTEL CORE 2 DUO E4600 2.4GHZ LGA775 WITH COOLERMASTER V8 COOLER, ASUSTEK P5KPL-CM LGA775, INNO3D GEFORCE 8600GT 512MB PCIE,WESTERN DIGITAL CAVIER GREEN 1TB 7200RPM SATA 64MB HDD, POWER CASE 500W EZCOOL POWER SUPPLY, CORSAIR 4GB-1033MHZ, 1.5TB WESTERN DIGITAL EXTERNAL HDD
Re: Your favorite GTR
I can shift the FZR faster than the FXR without baking the clutch in 2 laps (takes 20+ laps at race speeds). But that's just me.SEAN-NZ wrote:i like the gearing in FXR, means u dont have to release the accelerater, and it seems like the shifting is faster
Want to mess with me? Go for it.. See what happens.. Just don't complain about what happens.

Re: Your favorite GTR
oh, FXR is easier to change gear for me, im not a fan of releasing the accelerater to change gear, if i dont want to bake the cclutch in the faster cars

And you can fastshift from 6th to say.. 3rd when braking into a turn without having to "visit" all the other gears on the way down...

Re: Your favorite GTR
All i know is that i can be rolling backwards at 20 MPH in the fxr and be in 1st gear and step on it and barely damage the clutch. The FZR on the other hand, i can bake the clutch to easy doing that. Does the FXR have a beafier clutch due to the 4wd?skstibi wrote:I can shift the FZR faster than the FXR without baking the clutch in 2 laps (takes 20+ laps at race speeds). Re: Your favorite GTR
I find al the GTR cars have great clutches, I think if you burn them out you are shifting wrong.
Well I say ChrisP steals Wentz22 spelling skills.
ChrisP says Wentz22 steels signatures.

4WD is slowing down the car at higher speed.Dark Force wrote:One thing that ticks me off about the FXR is the fact that ill pull away from and FZR on a corner, then commin onto pit straight he BLOWS by me like he's got 30 more HP. Is it my set or what?
